Re.: Negotiations Update
Date: Oct. 4, 2002
Glastonbury teachers turned out in record numbers on Wednesday, October 2,
for an overwhelming ratification of the proposed 2003-2006 contract. On
Monday, October 7, the Board will vote on the tentative agreement. It will
then be delivered to the Town Hall for a thirty-day waiting period. During
that period the Town Council may choose to let the agreement stand or to
reject it and send the parties back to negotiation. Stay tuned.
