Membership

Each of you have a voice in your association. Members vote in the election of officers and building
representatives and on contract ratification. Members are represented at the meetings of
Representative Council and Executive Board, the policy and decision making bodies of the TEA.

Members receive Association Publications. Members receive information via this Official TEA web
site, the CEA Advisor and the NEA Today. These publications report on professional and union
issues locally, statewide and nationally.

You can take advantage of special services and benefits. The CEA and NEA offer a variety
of programs designed to improve the overall quality of life for you and your family. Affordable
insurance, secure investments, accessible credit and numerous other general services and
discounts are provided. For a complete and up to date listing call CEA Special Services at
1-800-842-4316 and NEA Member Benefits at 1-800-637-4636.

You are the teachers who are members and join in collective action. Your participation is our strength.
