First Round County Council Meetings - October 2009
County Council Meetings - Three times a year – fall, winter, and spring – leaders from the state and local affiliates hold meetings in each county to update members on current issues facing teachers and public education. These meetings are regional and enable union officials in each county to gather periodically. Led by the CEA county directors who serve on the CEA Board of Directors, these County Council dinner meetings allow members in each county to talk with CEA leaders, meet with colleagues, and conduct important Association business. County Councils also provide opportunities for members to increase their involvement in the Association by running for various elected positions within each county.
