American Education Week
Celebrate November 14-18
American Education Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor teachers for working to ensure that every child receives a quality education. This year's theme, "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility," will be reflected in special observances each day of the weeklong celebration:
- Monday, November 14: Kickoff Day
- Tuesday, November 15: Parents Day
- Wednesday, November 16: Education Support Professionals Day
- Thursday, November 17: Educator for a Day
- Friday, November 18: Substitute Educators Day
