CEA Members Featured in New TV Ads

Focus on need to reduce standardized testing

Two new CEA public awareness TV ads featuring CEA members and Connecticut students are playing on Connecticut TV stations across the state. The spots focus on the need to treat children as individuals, increase instructional time in schools, and reduce the number of required standardized tests.

The ads feature Orange teacher Katie McDonald, Sharon teacher Kerry O'Toole, East Hartford teachers Jorge Briceno and Monique Butler, Stamford teacher Tricia Conduah, Newington teacher Spencer Peterson, Branford teacher Jeffrey Rizzo, Stratford teacher Samantha Rosenberg, and Simsbury teacher Jamie Sepa.

Watch the ads and contact your state legislators. Tell them a child is more than a test score.
