"Linking for Learning" Parent Teacher Community Forum

Hundreds of teachers, school support personnel, union leaders, administrators, board of education officials, students, and family members attended the latest in an ongoing series of Parent Teacher Community forums. This video includes highlights of the May 6 event, which focused on linking family engagement to learning and included three afternoon workshops and two presentations by Dr. Karen Mapp.

Dr. Karen Mapp at "Linking for Learning" PTC Forum

Author and Harvard Graduate School of Education Policy and Management Director Dr. Karen Mapp was the keynote speaker at the May 6 Parent Teacher Community forum on "Linking for Learning." More than 200 parents, students, teachers, advocates, and state and local school officials attended the event, the latest in an ongoing series of discussions on the state of public education.
