A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Despite Mother Nature’s best efforts, we have finally begun a new school year. And what a year of change it is. With a new superintendent, several new administrators, as well as new staff members, we are all in store for new challenges and opportunities. This is a great time to get more involved with SEA! Come to our executive board meetings – voice your opinions, raise concerns, or just see what it’s about. You’ll see that there are plenty of ways to get involved: act as a building rep at your school, be part of a committee (this year we’ll be forming negotiation, bylaw, and calendar committees), or contribute to our newsletter. You are the Stafford Education Association, and the SEA needs you.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank JoAnn Losee for her 17 years of leadership as SEA President. She has done a tremendous job, and continues to be an important voice for the teachers of Stafford.
